Fit Issue Information

All orders placed are custom made at time of order. Most of the products have measurements/dimensions on the product picture to verify that our template will work your boat. Many boats have different seating configurations or options which can affect the pattern.

On the product page is also information stating that if there are dimensions it is the customer's responsibility to check those measurements against your boat or if there are no dimensions to contact us to get the them for you. There are no replacement or refunds for ordering incorrectly. Every boat is slightly difference so please allow up to a half inch tolerance on the edges. Also, when installing boat carpet lay the material out before installing snaps and work from left to right so the material will stay even.

Should you have a fit issue this will be the procedure for correction:

Contact via email or call Carmen at 770-663-0040 to start your fit claim. 

To verify the boat make and model a you will need to provide us with your title.

Also, pictures documenting the issue will be required. Please take pictures on all edges of the carpet while laying in the boat to best illustrate the issue. 

Once these items are completed, Production will research and notify the customer with the suggested solution to the issue. 

Production Quality Tolerance Policy:

While our production team makes every effort to follow high quality production practices the following instances and situations are not covered for replacement due to the manufacturing process of the materials and also the process of running materials through the cutting machines and binding machines. 

All Carpet and Duraweave materials: Natural variations in dye lots and carpet grain are not covered for replacement. 

Patterns woven into Duraweave material may not match 100% at butting seams and are not covered for replacement.

Although all of our patterns are cut in the same grain direction; natural properties of tufted material may have differences and are not covered for replacement. 

If there is a need to ship the material back to us for any reason Matworks paying the return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.


Overall dimensions of cockpit patterns are manufactured to have an acceptable tolerance of .5 inch and are not covered for replacement.
