Our custom embroidered marine gunwale mats add a stylish and personal touch while protecting your boat from marks and scratches. Each gunwale mat is hand made using our UV- and stain-resistant marine-grade carpet material and then backed with a non-skid, non-marking rubber that won’t deteriorate over time.
Finished size is 20” x 36.” There are sand weighted ends (6 pounds each) sewn into each end of the long sides of the mat. These weighted ends hang over the side of your sideboard/ gunwale, ensuring it stays in place when you board.
Your boarding mat can be customized with your boat name or other text using our extensive selection of fonts, embroidery colors and edge/ binding colors. The embroidery will run 20” across the middle of the mat when placed on your boat’s gunwale.

Fit perfect. Looks factory but much better. Love it.

Installation definitely takes some time, but overall the fitment was great. Some more snaps would've been nice as I ran out of the supplied 2 small bags. The new blue carpet looks a lot better than the old and dirty grey carpet!
The customer service was amazing! I placed the order after several phone calls with them and they sent me multiple samples. However, when the carpet arrived it was not the correct size. I called them and the person was wonderful, very apologetic and immediately said they would redo and send it right away. I got it in 3 days and it is perfect!!! The carpet looks wonderful.
This was a very good experience. I contacted MatWorks to be sure the product I chose would for our 2006 Glastron DX205 and received a prompt reply.
The carpet came and installation with the recommended Hapden snap tool went very well and came out perfectly.
Our 20 year old boat interior looks like new again!
We are very happy with our new carpet. It was a good value and it is a great product.
The only thing we would recommend is making sure there's a button tool recommendation to put the buttons on. The tool that we had wasn't large enough to get to where the buttons needed to be.

I needed to replace the carpet on my 2015 Sea Ray 330 Sundancer. I looked around at several carpet suppliers and decided to go with Matworks because they had the exact pattern for my boat (the 2011 pattern is the same as my 2015) and I really liked the selection of colors and types of carpets. I ordered 4 different samples across the 4 different types of carpet they have. I decided on the Duraweave #531 (actually my wife Deb decided as she is the designer of the family) because it matched our boats interior perfectly.
The carpet arrived in about 6 weeks as advertised. It came with two packages of snaps as well. I also ordered the snap installation tool that they recommended (Hapden Heavy Duty Snap Fastener Tool) which made the installation very easy.
We are very happy with our new carpets and it makes the boat look so much better and cleaner. I highly recommend Matworks for your boat carpets.
Order arrived faster than expected! 4-6 weeks were advertised but I think we received them in 3. The size and shape were nearly perfect and it all looks great in the boat. We could’ve used about 2 to 3X more snaps. They don’t dry very quickly, so I highly recommend hanging them to dry if they are soaked or they can’t get sun-dried.
My original Glastron SX 195 carpet fit perfectly either your template and/or whoever cut the carpet made a mistake as the carpet does not fit well. Top left corner is too long, the cutout for the ski locker is not symetrical the bottom left portion of the oval is way off, and the left and right boundaries down the side of the boat vary by over 2".
I would appreciate it if you sent me a replacement and I'll send this one back otheriwse I will post a negative review.

Carpet arrived early and looked great.. was very impressed... went to install and was missing half the snaps... contacted company and they immediately sent me them (they accidently only put 1 bag in instead of 2)...i am having concerns with these carpets not drying like normal boat carpet and also staining on the bottom side of these carpets tho... these carpets seem to stay wet longer than any boat carpet I've ever had and also began to stain on the bottom side (these have been used 1x) I contacted the company and they told me this is what they always use and it has an 8 year warranty so I guess time will tell.. fingers crossed
The mats arrived quicker than estimated and are a perfect fit. The colors were exactly as pictured online and the quality is fantastic. Highly recommend MatWorks and will definitely purchase from them again!
I have been purchasing boat welcoming mats for 5 years. This is the best yet. Yes it costs more than the cheap ones. You get what you pay for. Very happy with the quality of the rug and the embroidery
